Jaypee Hotels, one of the finest hospitality groups in India will contribute to the "Earth Hour" across their properties in India. In an endeavor to go beyond the hour, Jaypee will encourage its staff as well to put out the lights in their homes too on March 26, 2011 from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm

We have been working towards preserving natural resources by using key tag energy savers in our guest rooms, manual switch off systems, use of eco friendly materials like rubberwood, water recycling systems etc. For the Earth Hour on March 26, 2011, all properties of Jaypee Hotels will be observing the 'Earth Hour' by turning off non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour. Contributing to this colossal issue, we are sending e-mailers to all our employees and members urging them not just to switch off lights during Earth Hour 2011, but to go beyond and do such simple acts for preserving the planet from climatic changes".
