Coffee Day and FLAME (Foundation for Liberal and Management Education) have introduced the 'Scholar Hunt' Program, a unique scholarship opportunity of Rs 5 crore for students seeking under graduate and post graduate programs in several fields. The scholarship aims to help students in their higher education that will help them accomplish their professional and leadership goals in life. Announcing the program in Delhi was the founder president of FLAME and Coffee Day management, who also reached out to the city's students and scholars looking for furthering their education. Notably, FLAME has successfully enabled 350 students from across India pursue their higher education plans.

Scholar Hunt Program is a non-profit initiative by Coffee Day and FLAME Institute to support young students attain higher education. Coffee Day's association with FLAME into education is driven by the need to make quality education available to meritorious students.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Indira J. Parikh, founder and president of FLAME said, "Scholar Hunt Program focuses on providing the right opportunities to young individuals who aspire to reach great heights. There are several bright young aspirants in India who seek higher education but lack the means to achieve their goals. With these scholarships we aim to provide individuals with the right education and prepare them not only for their career but also ensure an all-round personality development that will mould them into becoming leaders."

K. Ramakrishnan, President - Marketing, Cafe Coffee Day, said, "With Coffee Day cafés being one of the main youth hubs of the country today, our association with FLAME to introduce Scholar Hunt Program is most fitting. Education is top of the mind of the youth and keeping their interests at heart, we have introduced this program that endeavours to promote young students who are looking for a challenging curriculum and propel them towards a fulfilling career." He further added, "Creating leaders is ingrained in Coffee Day's corporate culture and this initiative is an extension of that. We aim to sponsor eligible students for various educational programmes under FLAME and train them into becoming the leaders of tomorrow."

To avail this scholarship students are required to procure forms from Coffee Day outlets across all major cities. The selection criteria will be an exam to gain admission into the institute and then a screening process based on merit and proven economic and social conditions to be eligible for the scholarship.
