One of Canon India's most professionally affluent convention - Canon Leadership Summit 2012, was successfully held from February 7-9, 2012 at the Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon. This year, the summit assumed even more importance as Canon has completed 15 glorious years in India and also Fujio Mitarai, global chairman of Canon visited India for the first time. Canon's long-time associate and one of India's leading experiential marketing company CS Direkt, managed and executed the event with poise and perfection, making it one of the biggest spectacles in Canon India's history.

Recognising the importance of this decade, the Canon Leadership Summit was aptly titled 'The Defining Decade'. It is in sync with the fact that Canon India aims at being a $1 billion company by 2015. The quintessential 'Indian' flavour was truly felt across all three days, as the partners and top management were treated to an exciting blend of empirical, audio-visual and culinary aspects presented in a blissful melange of culture tradition and festivals.
C S Direkt left no stone unturned as they put up a great presentation with an array of experiential AVs and a choreographed flow of affairs that included a classy Champagne Parade, a speed painter who created a masterpiece, in the form of a blitzkrieg painting of Mr. Fujio Mitarai, a scintillating Odissi performance by the beautiful Masako Uno; and not to forget a foot-tapping performance by the glamorous Gauhar Khan that brought the evening alive.
Overall, an event that raised the bar for Canon India and CS Direkt as well. Adding more glamour and glory to the event was the presence of the Hon'ble Ambassador of Japan, Akitaka Saiki and Former Ambassador to Japan and Chairman of India-Japan Partnership Forum, Mr. Arjun Asrani.
