Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), to hold the first ever high-end lifestyle exhibition from Pakistan to India at New Delhi from April 12-15, 2012. The exposition, Lifestyle Pakistan, will showcase over 100 top brands and designers from Pakistan known for their design and quality the world over in various categories like Fashion Textile, Couture &Pret-Wear, Home Textiles, Designer Furniture, Leather goods and accessories, Food Products, Marble Ornaments and Intricate Handicrafts.

Lifestyle Pakistan, a collaborative exhibition of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), will be held at PragatiMaidan, Hall 18.
Highlighting the significance of the exposition, Tariq Puri, chief executive of TDAP, said, "Regional trade focuswith countries in our region is a key objective of TDAP. We are keen to translate the cultural and social affinity and the strong connect between the people of India and Pakistan into expanded bilateral trade and commercial relations. The presence of a large businessmen delegation and the exhibition of such scale will help explore the infinite possibilities and opportunities in bilateral trade in both the countries.
With Lifestyle Pakistan, we present Pakistan’s best to India and look forward to developing the synergies in areas of common interest.

India's Commerce Minister Anand Sharma along with the Commerce Minister of Pakistan, Makhdoom M. Amin Fahim will inaugurate the exhibition on April 12, 2012. Some of the leading names participating in the Exhibition areGul Ahmed, AlKaram, Hub Leather, Khaadi, Chen One, Bonanza, Shamaeel by Sitara, Nishat & Orient Textile Mills and many others. Faiza Samee, Maria B, Asim Jofa, and Honey Waqar are among the topdesigners who would be showcasing their collections during the four daylong exhibition.
Speaking on the occasion, Rita Menon, chairman and managing director at ITPO said, "We welcome this initiative of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and are delighted to collaborate with them. We look forward to the vast range of product showcase from a culturally rich and diverse country like Pakistan. We are confident that the two countries will be able to exchange and blend their respective trade expertise and strengths through this initiative."
The event not only aims to give a boost to the bilateral trade relations between the two countries but will also give visitors an opportunity to experience the widest variety of the phenomenal designer Lawn Fabric and Pret-wear that is uniquely Pakistani and has taken the fashion world by storm. Those attending the event can enjoy authentic Pakistani Food Extravaganza at the PragatiMaidan Food Court and the musical performances lined up during the exhibition.
