Scale Summit calls for awards nomination

The 13th Annual Supply Chain and Logistics Conference & Expo, (Scale 2012) is delighted to announce the call for nominations for the CPO Award and SCM innovation Awards 2012.

Organised by Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), Scale 2012 will recognise and acknowledge the top performing CPO in five industries namely, IT and BPO, construction, healthcare, automobile and retail under the CPO award category.

SCM Innovation Award will be conferred to the Best Innovative Team in Supply Chain Management, representing a Corporate, SME, or a Consultant, based on the case submitted.

The awards are aimed at recognizing contributions of top performers and companies who have demonstrated best practices, highlighted innovative initiatives and made significant efforts to improve quality of work, thereby making noteworthy contribution to the company.

The awards will be formally presented on May 18 during the awards ceremony of Scale 2012, the Lalit Ashok, Bangalore. Distinguished jury for the awards include - Mr. Subhash Loverkar, Bosch Management Services; N Muralidharan, formerly MD Job Street; and Subbu Krishna, National President, IIMM.

The Scale Summit is exclusively designed to create a platform where issues, opportunities related to the supply chain and logistics of various sectors will be addressed. The two day interactive forum will see a congregation of industry professionals viz CEO's, CFO's, COO's Supply Chain Management Professionals, Logistics Professionals, Purchase decision Makers, Procurement Officers, Chief Materials Officers, Chief Controller Of Stores, Sourcing Heads and other Stakeholders

The event will present strategic solutions to the challenges of accelerating financial returns, containing costs, implementing information technology, streamlining supply chain management processes among others. Scale 2012 is for practitioners of supply chain management, logistics, transport and procurement.
