The nation’s history, spanning 62 years as seen by these five voices. A parallel track of their personal journey and distinct memories with that of an evolving Independent India.

Independence Day Special looks back at the incidents that have shaped the country’s existence and how it has served as an inspiration for films, television, advertising and radio .The nation in its 62 years of existence has lived through several incidents that have shaped its conscience. From the struggle for independence, to the trauma of partition from economic liberalisation, to terrorist attacks. from Kargil War, to the fight for free Kashmir .India and the stories of its growing up years have been chronicled.
