India's leading Afternooner Mid Day yesterday hosted a very celebrated event "The Mid Day Trophy" - a day at the races held at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai and Bollywood's very own super star Akshay Kumar graced the occasion as the guest of honour.

Mid Day truly believes in doing things differently and has organised this extremely crème event not for one but two years in a row. Mid Day is the only newspaper brand in the country to have an exclusive branded race at the Royal Western India Turf Club, Mumbai. The Mid Day Trophy is now an annual brand property and will take place every year. It was not the mighty horses alone that raced everyone’s heart this year! Accompanied by his gorgeous lady luck Twinkle, they certainly looked like they had a great time.   

The Mid Day Trophy this year witnessed the who’s who of the city enjoying a great Sunday afternoon giving-a-hand at betting on the horses while free flowing Wines, Beers and Starters were served to them. Ice cream, Chocolates and Santa Claus himself kept all the children entertained at the event.
