BIG 92.7 FM rings in Christmas with unmatched offerings

This year Christmas will bring in more fun and excitement coupled with surprises for BIG 92.7 FM listeners across key cities. With the largest network of 52 stations, BIG FM has queued some interesting and fun activities, on-air games and music to light-up the festival of Christmas this year. The station promises to make Christmas merrier for its listeners, with some unmatched celebrations.

Beginning from December 21, BIG FM in Mumbai has launched its special Christmas campaign – ‘BIG Santa’ to add delight to the lives of the listeners in their merry making mood. BIG Santa is providing an opportunity to its listeners to don a hat of Santa for their loved ones. The station will invite entries from its listeners to nominate a friend or loved one for whom they wish to make ‘Xmas’ extra special. BIG 92.7 FM will then act as a messenger for the BIG Santa by sending the nominated person, special ‘Xmas goodie bags & a personalized note.

BIG FM Delhi is going to present Delhi & NCR the tallest Santa Claus on the eve of Christmas this year! Ushering in the Christmas, BIG FM will unveil a 30 ft high Santa Clause and present it as a Christmas gift to the city. As part of the on-air plan, the station has launched a ‘BIG Secret Santa’ contest, in which listeners will get an opportunity to become a secret Santa for their friends / family members and send them surprises through BIG FM. Adding to the celebrities, BIG FM will have a live radio-booth at the Saint Cathedral Church in Delhi and will air the midnight mass live from the church.

Sprucing up the festival, BIG FM Bangalore is organizing a special musical evening with Choirs from St. Andrews Church singing Christmas songs along with Alcohol and Drug addicts and victims. RJs Harsha and Shruti will also go live from St. Mary’s Basilica Church airing the celebrations. As part of the on-air plan, the station will be playing the ‘Christmas Tree’ game wherein listeners will have to guess song hooks and climb the musical xmas tree layer one by one. The winners will be showered with Christmas goodies.

Listeners in Hyderabad will have a special treat this Christmas – a ‘Secret Santa Evaru’. BIG RJs will play the Secret Santa games with the listeners and will give them an opportunity to become a secret Santa for their loved ones. On the day of Christmas, four special winners will get special Christmas cakes delivered at their place.

BIG FM in Kanpur had launched a ‘Dariya Dili’ campaign – collecting woollens for the poor and the same will be culminated on the eve of Christmas with the collection being distributed amongst the poor. Living the true vibe of Christmas, the station will be making the extreme winters warm for the people living on streets.
