Experience the fervor of patriotism and freedom this Republic Day only on STAR Gold! Commemorating the spirit of martyrdom with its viewers, the channel will telecast an array of films honoring the valor and courage of our national heroes in their special Republic Day line up. Tune in to catch the marathon of patriotic films all day long on 26th January 2010 only on STAR Gold.

The special line up of patriotic films commences with the multi starrer blockbuster ‘Heroes’ boasting of an impressive line up with Salman Khan, Preity Zinta, Sunny Deol, Mithun Chakraborty, Dino Morea and others. Revolving around the journey of families of deceased soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for the love of the country, the film will be aired at 12 pm on 26th January. Next in line is the story based on the life of an innocent man turned in to a terrorist. Watch Ajay Devgan in an outstanding performance only in ‘Diljale’ at 3 pm on STAR Gold.

The superhit story of a squad of soldiers and their commanding officer (Amitabh Bachchan) captured behind enemy lines will air at 8pm on STAR Gold. Tune in to the third movie in the line-up, ‘Deewar-Let’s bring our heroes home’.

Drawing the Republic Day festivities to a close is ‘Ek Krantiveer’ based on the life of a great revolutionary "Vasudev Balwant Phadke" adapted from a Marathi movie of the same name. Watch the journey of the father of armed revolution on 26th January at 11.50 pm only on STAR Gold!
