Zoom, India’s hottest destination for Bollywood content celebrates 2010 Holi in complete Bollywood Style with a line-up of exciting and colourful programmes Rang de Bollywood – the colourful specials created especially for the festival which will be aired a week prior to the build-up of the festival from 22nd till 26th February between 8.30 to 9 pm.

Join the excitement and fun as spring sets in with the festival of colours and a dash of Bollywood masti. The celebrations of Holi have already started on the channel with Rang De Bollywood Holi specials which will be telecasted till February 26, 2010 everyday from 8.30 pm to 9 pm. It kicks off with Holi Aaj Kal – which will showcase favorite Bollywood stars playing and enjoying Holi in their reel life. This segment covers Bollywood stars from the legendary RK tradition to exclusive Amitabh Bachchan to Akshay Kumar and other Holi bashes.
On the Holi Festivity celebrated by Zoom, Bala Iyeangar, Business Head Zoom, expressed, "The festival of Holi, being one of the most popular festivals of the masses, has played a significant role in Bollywood movies as well. Giving this festival of colours its due credit, we have created some unique content for our viewers to enjoy. I wish this 2010 Holi is the start of a wonderful, joyous and colourful journey for the channel and the Bollywood industry."
On 23rd February Zoom will be airing – Rangeela Re which correlates the concept of Holi with colours- It is a countdown of Star’s fascination for a particular colour. It will showcase the link between the favorite colours of Bollywood stars, most worn colours by the stars, colours of costumes that created buzz etc. eg - Madhuri always wore red in every movie and Aishwarya Rai’s favorite colour is white.
24th February will have Lets Play Holi segment, which will feature popular industry stars giving tips on how to play Holi. Eg. Fun tips and pranks that can be played, tips on how to let Holi not spoil your hair, skin and nails etc.
Geet Gaata Chal segment on February 25th will be exploring various emotions of Holi portrayed in different movies. Such as the youthful masti of Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra singing ‘Do me a favour let’s play Holi’ in Waqt, Hema and Dharmendra’s flirting in the Holi number in Sholay, Shahrukh as an obsessive lover in Darr playing the drums in the Holi song.
On 26th February’s Ab Tak Zoom segment will take the audience through all the colourful enjoyment of the popular Zoom Holi Parties in the past 4 years and the excitement building up for the 2010 Holi Party .
