PIX-the premium English movie channel, is all set to launch its new theme for movies –'Hand Picked'. Hand Picked will air the best of the Hollywood movies specially chosen for the PIX lovers to keep them glued to your television screens. Watch one of the most anticipated films of 2006 'Da Vinci Code' starring Tom Hanks on March 6th 2010 at 9 pm only on PIX.

This American mystery film directed by Ron Howard is based on the bestselling 2003 novel of the same name by Dan Brown. The movie was previewed at the opening night of the 2006 Cannes Film Festival on May 17. The Da Vinci Code is the best domestic opening for both Tom Hanks and Ron Howard.

The plot of the movie revolves around a murder inside the Louvre and clues in Da Vinci paintings lead to the discovery of a religious mystery protected by a secret society for two thousand years -- which could shake the foundations of Christianity. The movie was nominated for Grammy Awards and 16 other awards including the Golden Globe.
