Miss World 2010, the 60th Miss World pageant, will be held on October 30, 2010, in Sanya, People's Republic of China; after Vietnam backed out of the hosting contract.

Reigning Miss World - Kaiane Aldorino will crown her successor on Saturday 30th October at the beauty Crown Theatre. She said "China is a magnificent experience and I look forward to welcoming all the contestants to this tropical paradise".

Miss World is the longest running event of its kind. Launched in 1951, it has become the world's most watched annual event, with a worldwide viewing audience of over 1 billion. Miss World is a celebration of beauty, fashion, talent and culture as contestants tour the host country supporting charitable causes, participating in spectacular events and visiting the local attractions. The judges at Miss World will choose a contestant who has the winning combination of beauty, glamour, poise and intelligence.

Zee Cafe will be premiering the original UK version of the global format sensation Dancing On Ice - Series 5 on the same day, 30th Oct at 9 pm. Considered as one of the most gripping series that dazzles and delights; Dancing on Ice is a prime time hit in eight countries and will be shown on any Indian channel for the first time.

Under the guidance of Olympic figure skating champions, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, celebrity contestants take to the ice each week with a live performance as they compete for the judge's approval and the public's vote. It's a star-packed show with Heather Mills, Sinitta, Gary Lucy and Boyzone's Mikey Graham amongst the celebrities getting their skates on and Spice Girl Emma Bunton joining the judging panel.

This year's series is bigger than ever with 14 british celebrity skaters. And with everything to play for, the bar is set for the most gripping series yet.
