Radio is known for revolutionizing entertainment as a whole. It has accomplished a successful journey from being a mass entertainer to a mass infotainer. It not only provides entertainment but also functions as a major psychological medium for the listeners. Despite of a lot of prominent members in the field, 94.3 MY FM has consistently honed the resilient and emotional connect with the masses. The relationship it shares with its audience is highly proverbial and emotive. MY FM has successfully discerned itself all over and it has been proved many times by the level of faith and belief its listeners carry for their Channel.

A one of its kind exemplification for the above thumped the Channel when, while nonchalantly hosting the morning show 'Salam Ahemdabad', RJ Ankit received a tremendously distressed call from an anxious listener Vinayak at 7 a.m., pleading for help. He was in desperate need of five bottles of the blood group O -ve. After frantic yet botched attempts of arranging the blood; and only about an hour to go for the operation of his relative, he called MY FM. The beleaguered caller's request for help was instantly adhered to.

RJ Ankit immediately went on air and urged the listeners for instant help. Within 30 minutes of the appeal being broadcasted, eight people got in touch and donated blood to the hospital. So much so, a caller from Anand - a place approximately 90 kilometers from Ahmedabad also called in for assistance. This goes to demonstrate the power of radio and the deep entrenchment of MY FM in the minds and hearts of its listeners.

Vinayak, in the midst of mammoth stress decided to call 94.3 MY FM for help instead of other radio stations or mediums for that matter. Remarking on the incident, Mr. Harrish M. Bhatia, CEO 94.3 MY FM said, "We have always strived to provide our listeners with more than just music and entertainment. Our listeners have always been of prime importance to us. We try to connect with them in a way that we embed ourselves in their day-to-day lives. We have always pledged to be there as a constant source of support and strength to our listeners inspiring them to 'Jiyo Dil Se', just the way they have been for us, as attested by Vinayak's frenzied phone call. MY FM wishes Vinayak's relative a speedy recovery."

94.3 MY FM besides being a socially responsible radio channel has also focused and worked at creating an innate bond with its listeners on every level possible.
