Being just a hero doesn't seem to be enough in Bollywood lately. Superhero is the new trend in the industry and this fad has taken the A List actors and directors by storm! The past superheroes seen on screen were Ajan Devgan in Toonpur ka Superhero, Hrithik Roshan in Kkrish and Abhay Deol in Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.

This season, many actors have opted to explore the superhero in them! Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar have recently signed their Superhero movies, joining them in the Superhero league is none other than the dashing Salman Khan! After brilliantly essaying the role of Chulbul Pandey in blockbuster Dabanng, this Dabanng actor is all geared up to entertain his fans with his new superhero avatar. The yet untitled superhero flick will be under the Yashraj Banner directed by Kabir Khan of the New York fame.

With the kind of fan following for Salman Khan and his image of providing aid to people when in time of need, Salman Khan definitely fits the bill! Friendly or not, Salman Khan surely becomes an apt choice in the bollywood version of always there to help thy neighbour!!! Also rumour is that, the damsel in distress in the movie will be played by his ex -flame and the hottest girl in B' town, Katrina Kaif. If sparks will be seen flying when superhero Salman rescues Katrina while shooting is yet to be seen. But there is always hope to see the love blossom all over again.
