With cricket fever gripping the entire nation, Radio City 91.1 FM announces the first season of its Gully Premier League. Gully Premier League (GPL) is a month long activity with series of matches between different regions of the city across 7 cities. Different regions will compete against each other within the city for their chance to pick up the GPL CUP and a cash prize of Rs. 50,000. Close to 450 teams will be selected across the country!
The massive campaign will run in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad. The activity will kick start with registrations beginning 1st May to 11th May. Players can register on air or by SMS by typing GPL
The registered teams will then be called for short listing on 7th and 14th May, narrowing it to top 8 qualifying teams. The quarter finals between 8 shortlisted teams will take place on 21st May followed by semi finals and finals on 29th May.
