Dainik Jagran has strong conviction and belief in young talent and has always strived to create and design its editorial to educate and guide them to become a good citizen and creditable individuals.

Jagran Young Editor is one such initiative which aims to educate youngsters about the nuances of news business. Students between 12 to 17 years of age will be trained in news making. Youngsters will attend a workshop on various aspects editorial from the experts in Dainik Jagran Editorial Team.

Workshop and Training session for the participants will be on following aspects of newspaper creation:

a. Understanding Editorial

b. Political Reporting

c. Crime Reporting

d. Sports Reporting

e. Reporting civic issues

f. Production

Eventually participants has to design newspaper on the blank newsprint provided to them. Participants has to use 15 days of Dainik Jagran to collect news for the project.

This activity is being conducted across all editions of Dainik Jagran in 11 states. With readership of 11415000 in 12 to 17yrs age group, the reach of Jagran Young Editor is massive.

This is going to be the largest talent hunt in print media and aims to generate interest of young minds towards the fraternity.
