This Independence Day, India's leading music portal PlanetRadiocity.com brings a one its kind experience for its audience as it gets into a new avatar. On the 15th of August; PlanetRadiocity Web Radio will transform into Freedom Radio, marking the celebrations for India's 64th year of Independence.Freedom Radio gives an opportunity to listeners and viewers to send a song which sets them free and defines them. The campaign kicked off on 10th of August, 2011 and has received enormous entries through mails and posts from PlanetRadiocity official Facebook page.

Adding to the Freedom theme, a special page is created called 64 Years of Indian Music. This section covers hit songs since 1947. Songs known for bridging gaps, binding boundaries and creating history have all been put together in this one unique section.
