RAGS TO RED CARPET premieres every Friday at 8:00 p.m. on TLC.

The chosen participant undergoing makeover visualises her transformation as the team works with her on a movie poster concept for the starring role of her life – that is, a poster for the new red carpet star. Armed with the latest fashion, makeup and beauty aids, these experts transform the fashion disaster into a dazzling star ready for a marvelous red carpet reveal to friends and family.

For the finale moment in every episode of RAGS TO RED CARPET, friends and fans wait anxiously as the star-to-be pulls up to the theatre in a stretch limousine. She steps out in a dazzling gown and glittering jewellery, her hair and makeup ready for the spotlight. She does a red carpet walk for the paparazzi and her adoring fans, friends and family. As fans and friends gather around there star, there are some final excited comments about her complete transformation and the show closes just as the star’s premier party kicks into high gear.
