WB lights up screens this October with festival of lights and Diwali heat

October just got more exciting with WB's spectacular line up of Hollywood movies on-air throughout the month, packaged as a series of specials to help families celebrate the joyous season of Diwali.

Festival of Lights will run for four weeks under four special themes commencing October 3 until October 27, every Monday to Thursday at 9.00 pm, showcasing Hollywood's-best in action, sci-fi, and adventure.

To add to the festivities, WB will also air some of its best action movies featuring the most mind-boggling gadgets, explosions, kung fu, and a whole lot of adventure as part of its programming special Diwali Heat starting October 14 until October 23, Fridays to Sundays at 9.00pm and 11.00 pm.

Festival of Lights is co-presented by Nokia and Axe, in association with Airtel, Nivea, Tata Sky, Reebok and Hyundai i20.

Diwali Heat is title sponsored by Tata Manza, powered by Tropicana and in association with McDonalds, Nerolac and Airtel.

WB Festival of Lights Line Up: October 3 - October 27, every Monday to Thursday at 9.00 pm.

WB Festival of Lights, based on four special themes, will take viewers on an enthralling joyride by showcasing action-adventure movies including The Tuxedo, Enter the Dragon, Blade II, Tekken and Superman II. Festival of Lights then moves on to showing movies on the 'monster' theme, including Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. On the theme of fantasy, it will then showcase Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. There will also be action-packed movies such as Torque and Speed Racer to complete the most festive season of the year on a high note!

WB Diwali Heat Line-Up: October 14 - October 23, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 9.00 pm and 11.00 pm.

Completely dedicated to the action genre, the Diwali Heat specials will showcase some of the best action movies from Hollywood including Iron Man, Rush Hour, Training Day, Shrek 2, and The Matrix. Rounding off the line up is Kung Fu Panda and Blood Sport.
