92.7 BIG FM will spice up the Indian Premier League-V season for its listeners with the BIG Chennai League.

Eight teams will be selected through registration on-air and at high footfall areas starting on Saturday when patrons of Ampa Skywalk Mall were provided with an opportunity to get selected by testing their cricket skills against music director Vijay Ebenezer and singer Srilekha Parthasarathy.

The eight teams will vie for the title of City Champions in a Twenty20 tournament over the next two weekends with the final scheduled in the second week of May.

The much-loved radio station already has a Twenty20 program on air when the listener attempts 20 questions.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kiran, Cluster Head (Tamil Nadu), 92.7 BIG FM, said: "The objective of the event is to rejoice the flavor of cricket during the IPL season. 92.7 BIG FM recognizes this mood in our cricket-crazy country."
