Aval Jolly Day, a platform for women to showcase their talents and enjoy the festivities is back with a bang. This event, which has been a success since 1999, is all set to hit the floors on 30th June 2019 in Madurai. Aval Jolly Day has been a tradition in Vikatan Group since the first anniversary of Aval Vikatan - Vikatan’s women centric magazine. Since the launch of Aval Vikatan, Aval Jolly Day has continued to be a part of its readers’ lives. This event has been conducted in various cities across Tamil Nadu like Madurai, Puducherry, Erode, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Trichy, Salem, Tiruppur and many more in the past 20 years. We are kick starting this event at Madurai, post which we are planning to cover various cities across Tamil Nadu this year.
This event is a great platform for women to showcase their talent. Various on-stage and off-stage events will be conducted to provide a day of entertainment and fun for women. A preliminary round of these events, which include Singing, Dancing, Mono Acting, Mimicry, Rangoli, Mehndi, Fireless cooking, Art and Craft, Selfi and Dubsmash contest, will be conducted prior to Aval Jolly Day to identify the best talents. These finalists will perform again on Aval Jolly Day and will be awarded.
