Lokmat Maharashtrian of the year is one of the marquee initiatives of Lokmat Media which honours exemplary work of individuals in their respective fields. Ranging from Politics, Administration, Social Work, Arts, Science, Sports and even Entertainment, the efforts of these nominees have altered the landscape of Maharashtra for the better.

Designed & executed by Pentagon Events, this magnum opus was curated in all its grandeur at the NSCI Dome. From hosting dignitaries like the Hon. Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis & Shri. Uddhav Thakrey and Family to Celebrities like Zarin Khan, Rohit Shetty, Ritesh Desmukh, Deepika Padukone and Vicky Kaushal as well as around 6000 Maharashtrians in the stands, Pentagon events delivered a seamless and memorable experience for everyone to enjoy.

Hosted by the esteemed Shweta Shelgaonkar, the ceremony began with a specially curated patriotic performance that was Maharashtra’s ‘Salaam’ to India. The evening continued with a videos telling the stories of the each winner and congratulating the nominees in every field. The highlights of the experience included RJ Archana’s tete-a-tete with Deepika Padukone and Vicky Kaushal and a heart to heart with our Hon. Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis and his lovely wife hosted by Ritesh Deshmukh!

Despite getting only 4 days to curate, design and execute this grand event, Pentagon Events, delivered excellence in every aspect. Within 2 days the fabrication of the entire setup with more than 2400sq feet of LED was complete. This event stands to testament to precision planning across the board which allowed the teams of Lokmat and Pentagon to work as one. From capturing every angle of the event with a 6 camera setup to making each dignitary and commoner feel special, every single touchpoint was detailed and delivered.
