Mudra’s Deepak Taneja and Saurabh Das Gupta to join Innocean; Mishti Bose ready for Publicis India

Taneja and Bose were group business directors at Mudra, Das Gupta was creative director

Last week, five senior executives – Hemant Misra, Nirmalya Sen, Mishti Bose, Deepak Taneja and Saurabh Das Gupta – bid adieu to Mudra.

Deepak Taneja, who was group business director, Mudra, is all set to join Hyundai’s creative agency, Innocean, as associate vice-president. According to informed sources, Taneja will start his new assignment on December 12. He will head the client management function.

Taneja has been with Mudra for more than five years and has handled brands such as Samsung, Hewlett Packard, Electrolux, Dabur and HBO.

Prior to this, he worked with Lowe (then Lintas) for four and a half years as account group manager.

Following Taneja to Innocean is Saurabh Das Gupta, creative director, Mudra. Dasgupta, who has been with Mudra for more than six years, was handling most of the Dabur businesses there. Before moving to Mudra, he was with Leo Burnett.

Mishti Bose, who was also group business director at Mudra, will join Publicis India.

It has already been reported that Hemant Misra, president and head of North and East operations, Mudra, is joining JWT, Delhi, as senior vice-president, Pepsi, from next month, and that Nirmalya Sen, vice-president, Mudra, Delhi, is all set to join TBWA, Delhi, as vice-president, North.
