Contract wins the creative duties for Fortis' retail project

Fortis Healthcare plans to set up branded health shops across India

Fortis Healthcare, which is a part of the Ranbaxy group, is planning to set up branded health shops across India. It has awarded the creative duties for this project to Contract. This was followed by a multi-agency pitch, which saw the participation of four or five agencies, which include Contract and Grey Worldwide.

Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, a senior source at Fortis says, “The business was awarded to Contract, Delhi, on the basis of its creative strategy and understanding of the brand and the category.”

In its media plan, the company plans to use mass media, which will include all television, print and radio, as the project needs to reach out to the end consumers.

For the record, Fortis Healthcare Ltd (FHL) has several luxury hospitals in North India. It has one hospital each in Mohali (near Chandigarh), Amritsar and Noida, and three hospitals in Delhi. Just last week, it opened another hospital in Vasant Kunj, in Delhi.

It is learnt that the company is quite aggressive about this retail venture of branded health shops and has big plans for it.
