G3 bags three mid-sized businesses

W, the India Today Group’s lifestyle publications and the Ansal-owned APIL have all gone to G3

Winning multi-agency pitches, G3 Communications, Delhi, Grey Worldwide’s second agency, has added three new businesses to its kitty. G3 will now undertake the creative and media duties for three brands: W, the women’s work-wear retail brand; the India Today Group’s lifestyle magazines, ‘Cosmopolitan’, ‘Good Housekeeping’, ‘Travel Plus’ and ‘Design Today’; and the real estate company, Ansal APIL.

The development was confirmed to agencyfaqs! by Shalini Dam, head, Delhi, G3 Communications.

All the three businesses are believed to be medium sized. G3 declined to disclose the exact size of the businesses

W, the women’s work-wear brand owned by TCNS Clothing Company, was earlier handled by Rediffusion DY&R. Just three years ago, the brand went national with 25 retail outlets across the country. G3 will soon launch a campaign for W’s Fall Collection.

The business for the India Today Group’s lifestyle magazines, ‘Cosmopolitan’, ‘Good Housekeeping’, ‘Travel Plus’ and ‘Design Today’, has moved from Publicis India.

Ansal APIL, which is into housing, townships, commercial complexes, hotels, entertainment and educational institutions, was in the custody of Everest Brand Solutions till now.
