O&M India makes changes in senior management

Prateek Srivastava, president, O&M, Bangalore, will now function as group president, O&M, South. Kalpana Rao, national HR head at O&M, has put in her papers

O&M India has made three key changes in its senior management.

Prateek Srivastava, who was functioning as president, O&M, Bangalore, has been elevated to the post of group president, O&M, South. Srivastava will also function as a board partner in his new role and will head all three offices in the South, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. His new mandate will be to grow O&M, South, both in quantitative (new businesses) and qualitative (quality of work) terms. He will continue to be based in Bangalore.

Krishna Mohan, who was president, O&M, Chennai, till date, has been assigned the new role of national head of training and development, O&M, India. He will be responsible for creating and executing motivational programmes for the various O&M teams across the country.

Meanwhile, Kalpana Rao, talent director, O&M, India, has put in her papers. It is learnt that she wishes to venture out on her own in the field of consultancy.

Piyush Pandey, executive chairman and national creative director, O&M, explains these changes. About Srivastava, he says, “His new role is in line with our vision to consolidate our supremacy in the Southern markets. It is also a recognition of his superb performance in making O&M, Bangalore, the success it is today.”

“Rao set up the human resource and talent function at O&M at a time when we needed it the most and, although she will no longer work with us, she is leaving behind the legacy of the wonderful team she built here,” says Pandey.

Over the years, Rao donned many hats at O&M. She was the media director before the media function moved to MindShare and, more recently, she functioned as the talent director for eight years.

Mohan has been with O&M, Chennai, for the last eight years. Pandey says, “Mohan has very ably led our Chennai office to big successes over the last eight years and we are confident that he will be an invaluable asset to the training function which is critical for us as we prepare ourselves for the future.”
