Mudra bags the creative duties for The Grand Bhagwati

Mudra, Ahmedabad, has bagged the creative duties for the five-star hotel, The Grand Bhagwati. There were three-four agencies in the fray for the account, the names of which could not be ascertained.

The size of the advertising spend is estimated to be Rs 1-1.5 crore. The media buying and planning for the business is managed in-house by the client.

Commenting on the win, Surya Kumar Sharma, group business director, Mudra Communications, says, “Mudra, Ahmedabad, has the image of an agency that has the potential to build brands that last long. As The Grand Bhagwati is on an expansion spree, we will be conducting a comprehensive brand-building exercise for it.”

Narendra Somani, chairman and managing director, The Grand Bhagwati, says, “Mudra presented great insights for our brand to be advertised on a national level. As we will be launching in cities such as Surat, Jaipur and Mumbai soon, Mudra will act as an all-round advertising partner to build a strong image for our brand.”

The media mix for the business will consist of print, outdoor and below-the-line activities for the most part. TV and radio may be considered at a later stage when the new hotels are launched in the other cities.

For the record, The Grand Bhagwati has experience in catering to the food, beverage and banqueting needs of its customers over a period of 10 years. It is known for providing convenient and value for money services without compromising on set standards.
