This project involves communication about mental illnesses

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has assigned the creative duties for its new project to FCB Ulka, Delhi. This project involves communication about mental illnesses. The pitch was held in July 2006. Apart from FCB, some other leading agencies were in also the fray for the business.

This business is on a project basis, and the media duties for the same will be handled in-house.

For its new project, WHO wants to talk about the fact that mental illness, unlike some physical diseases, is not infectious and can be cured by treatment and support of society and family members of the affected. Therefore, WHO asked the presenting agencies to adopt a positive approach towards the depiction of the illness.

Talking about FCB Ulka’s presentation, Amarinder Butalia, director, client services, FCB Ulka, says, “The client appreciated the humorous touch that we gave to the issue, which helped put across the message in a distinct manner.”
