Explaining the mandates of Sen and Ghoshal, Bakshi said that Ghoshal will be responsible for delivering and managing the business, whereas Sen would be looking into the quality of the creative work.

Sen has an experience of eight years in the advertising industry. He started off as a trainee copywriter in JWT, Delhi in 1998. After spending six years, he left the agency as creative supervisor. He joined Cheil Communications, Delhi in 2004, where he spent two years. During his term at JWT, he worked on brands such as Pepsi, Reckitt Benckiser, Pizza Hut and Hero Cycles.

Talking about his experience in the advertising industry, Sen quips, “The journey has been good till now. JWT changed my outlook towards advertising. At Cheil, working on Samsung gave me an abundance of exposure and learning. And here, at Law & Kenneth, I am to raise the creative bar.”

Ghoshal has an experience of nine years. He began his career with Publicis Advertising (then Madhyam Advertising) in 1997. He joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 2000 as account manager on Panasonic and the Taj Group of Hotels. He then moved to Lowe, Bangalore, in 2002, where he was brand services director on Britannia Marie Gold and 50-50.

In 2003, he went to West Asia, where he was associate accounts director at Concept, a local agency. After spending two years in the Gulf, he came back to India to join Everest, Delhi, as associate account director on the Hitachi account. In mid-2006, he moved to Mudra. In West Asia, he worked on Chevrolet, Nissan, Bank of Muscat and Oman Arab Bank.

Ghoshal holds the re-launch of Britannia Marie Gold and 50-50 close to his heart. He says, “I took up the assignment at Law & Kenneth as I have an individual perspective of striving towards achievement, like everybody has, and I know I shall be able to put it to good use for the agency.”

Bakshi reveals that mid-level and junior-level recruitment is in progress.
