B Sridhar has joined Sulekha.com as director, global brand and marketing. He will be responsible for building up the brand and customising the content in the Indian context
Everest Brand Solutions’ ex-general manager and Mumbai branch head, B Sridhar, has joined Sulekha.com, the online community and social networking portal for Indians worldwide, as director, global brand and marketing.
His mandate at Sulekha will be to grow and develop the brand in India and customise the site in the Indian context. Commenting on his move from mainstream advertising to a social networking portal, Sridhar says, “The digital and Internet space is experiencing such a boom. It has the capacity to overpower traditional advertising in the near future. At Sulekha, I have the challenge of building up the brand and making it a name to reckon with.”

He has worked on brands such as Diageo’s Shark Tooth Vodka, Godfrey Phillips, Veedol, Airtel and Eveready.
