Rajesh Kumar, president, planning, Ogilvy has put in his papers at the agency. The development has been confirmed by a senior spokesperson at the agency. While there is no clarity on where he is headed, it is learnt that he is still serving the notice period. Currently, Kumar reports to Madhukar Sabnavis, country head, discovery and planning, Ogilvy India.

After completing MBA from Punjab University in 1993, Kumar spent the next 17 years in advertising. Before joining Ogilvy in 2005, he spent three years at Young & Rubicam as vice-president, strategic planning.

Ogilvy India has been in the news recently for having the maximum number of campaigns featured in this year's edition of The Work. Also, at Spikes Asia 2010 held recently in Singapore, the agency managed one gold Spike in TV/Cinema category for the Breakthrough campaign on domestic violence awareness.
