Founded in 1929 in Tokyo, Japan, Akai is known for its value driven Japanese technology and design across verticals. It has also engaged in offering home entertainment products, specialising in the audio and video arenas. The company recently announced the resurgence of the Akai brand in the Indian market with the launch of its electronic and mobile handset segments.
