His immediate mandate will be to oversee work on the agency's portfolio of brands like Makemytrip.com, Indiatimes.com, Max New York Life, Zee Business, and RB brands such as Dettol, Harpic, Mortein, Veet, Vanish, Moov, and Dermicool, amongst others.
Euro RSCG has roped in Ravi Raghavendra as executive creative director (ECD). Raghavendra, who will be based in Gurgaon, will report to Satbir Singh, managing partner and chief creative officer, Euro RSCG India.
Raghavendra's immediate mandate will be to manage various brands handled from the Gurgaon office like Makemytrip.com, Indiatimes.com, Max New York Life, Zee Business, and Reckitt Benckiser (RB) brands such as Dettol, Harpic, Mortein, Veet, Vanish, Moov, and Dermicool, to mention a few.
Raghavendra was earlier with Contract Advertising, Bengaluru, as the executive creative director (ECD), handling various clients like Louis Philippe, Himalaya Pharmaceuticals, AMD, Bharti AXA, and Shell, amongst others.
Speaking to afaqs!, Raghavendra says, "I look forward to do meaningful work and add energy to the agency."
A chemistry graduate, Raghavendra has spent more than 15 years in advertising. Having started his career with R K Swamy BBDO, he moved to Grey Worldwide (then Trikaya Grey) after a year. He then shifted to Contract Advertising, Mumbai, where he spent around four years. In between, he had a short stint at Lemon Communications.
Raghavendra, thereafter, shifted base to Dubai, to join DDB, and finally came back to India to join Contract Advertising.
He is also the recipient of various national and international awards such as London International Awards, Abby's and Ad Club, Bangalore.
