Dentsu's Ajay Seth to join as head of G3 Communications, Delhi

Ajay Seth will join G3 Communications, the second agency of Grey Global Group, as associate vice president, heading the Delhi branch from next week.

The appointment follows Rajiv Shukla, country head and associate vice president of Delhi-based G3 Communications, putting in his papers.

While Seth will be taking over Shukla's responsibilities in Delhi, the Chennai branch of G3 Communications will now be handled by Vijay Jacob

Both Seth and Jacob will report to Nirvik Singh, Chairman, South Asia, Grey Global Group.

Seth was formerly associated with Dentsu Communication, where he was the general manager at the Delhi branch. Dentsu, then, used to be a liason office.

Prior to Dentsu, Seth has spent 10 years with Contract Advertising, where he worked on the NIIT account. He has also worked on accounts such as Shell, The Indian School of Business, Tata Telecom and Luxor, etc.

Talking about his new assignment, Seth, says, "Looking after G3, Delhi, will be both a challenge and a great opportunity to shape an agency that has the potential of becoming one of the best. My previous experience of starting an agency from scratch will help encounter this great prospect."

G3 Communications is the second agency of Grey Global Group in India. It was set up last year in December 2003 and already boasts of accounts like Haier, The Park Hotels, Dicoh, HMT tractors, and CRY, to name a few. Recently G3 opened it's second branch in Chennai.
