“We are delighted and honoured to be nominated on an international platform like Meffys and to be grouped among such highly respected companies,” said Saleem Mobhani, COO, Hungama Mobile, in a statement.
The Meffys, organised by MEF, are awarded for the most innovative ads in the mobile entertainment industry, including big brands and start-ups alike. Nokia Nseries is the lead sponsor for the event this year, to be hosted by comedian Ray Cokes.
Rimma Perelmuter, MEF Executive Director, said in a statement on the MEF website, “This year’s entries proved that the mobile entertainment industry is set to meet its global revenue target of $38 billion by 2011, with an array of applications and services that make it easy and appealing for the consumer to discover and purchase content on the go.”
