Nitin Ghadiyar joins Dabur India as ED, consumer healthcare

In his last assignment, Ghadiyar was the president and CEO of Morepen Laboratories

Dabur India Ltd on Friday announced the appointment of Nitin Ghadiyar as the executive director of its consumer healthcare business.

Talking about Ghadiyar's appointment, Sunil Duggal, CEO, Dabur India, says, "Dabur India has identified OTC as one of the growth drivers for the company and Ghadiyar will lend his expertise in giving impetus to the growth of this business, given his vast experience in the FMCG and pharmaceutical industry."

Dabur's consumer healthcare business is the company's oldest business that includes OTC, branded ethical and generic products, including Ayurvedic medicines.

With an experience of over 25 years, Ghadiyar has held several senior management positions, including those of group director, Parke Davis, managing director at Reckitt-Piramal, and president and executive director, Johnson & Johnson in his earlier assignments. In his last assignment, he was the president and CEO of Morepen Laboratories.

Ghadiyar, an MBA graduate from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, has worked on more than 20 national brands including Halls, Chiclets, Listerine, Benedryl, Gelusil, Saridon, Lacto Calamine and the Erythropoietin megabrand, Eprex.
