Brand Owner's Summit: Second innings in Chennai

The second edition of the summit will be held on October 23 and 24 in Chennai at the Hyatt Regency. It will provide a platform to spread the mantras of branding to enhance the value of ideas, products and enterprise.

The second innings of Brand Owners Summit will be held in Chennai, where again the brand owners, entrepreneurs and marketers will gather to share their knowledge and experiences on how to grow and nurture a brand. It will take place on October 23 and 24 at the Hyatt Regency. The event is organised by afaqs! and The Smart CEO.

Some of the prominent speakers at the event will be Murugavel Janakiraman, founder and CEO, Bharat Matrimony; K Pandiarajan, founder, Ma Foi Strategy Consulting; H R Srinivasan, founder, Take Solutions; Hanif Sattar, founder, Basics Life; Rajiv Dingra, CEO, WATConsult; P C Balasubramanian and Ram N Ramakrishnan, author, Grand Brand Rajni; Raju Venkatraman, founder and CEO, Medall; G S Sundararajan, director, Shriram Group; Tushar Vyas, managing partner, South Asia, GroupM; Mahesh Murthy, founding partner, Seed Fund; Mayur Abhaya, founder, Lifecell; and Mittu Chandilya, CEO, Air Asia.

Day One of the event will begin with a session on Bharat Matrimony's approach towards brand building, followed by speaker sessions on brand rebirth, and building a brand via social and digital media. In between, there will be a couple of presentations on brand building and marketing activities.

Day Two will mostly be dominated by speaker presentations on branding lessons from serial entrepreneurs, young brands, and a couple of thought leadership sessions on building a brand in a digital system and building value for the brand.

Brand Owner's Summit will focus on learning 'Branding Truths' from the vast experience and knowledge of professionals who have successfully added value to their respective ideas and business ventures through branding.

The registration for the event is open till midnight today.

The first leg of the summit was held at Ahmedabad in February 2013, where some of the big names from the industry assembled such as Piruz Khambhatta (Rasna), Darshan Patel (Vinni), Achal Bakeri (Symphony), R S Sodhi (Amul), Vishal Mehta (InfiBeam), Ganesh Nayak (Zydus Cadila), Anghshu Mallick (Adani Wilmar), Jitendra Chauhan (Jade Blue), Santosh Desai (Future Brands) and Mahesh Murthy (SeedFund).

After Ahmedabad and Chennai, the consecutive editions of Brand Owner's Summit will be scheduled across the country, including metros such as Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata.
