Kellogg's Vikram Bahl moves to GSK Consumer Healthcare

He succeeds Prashant Pandey who moves to Bangladesh as general manager - MyBaN.

GSK Consumer Healthcare has appointed Vikram Bahl as the area marketing lead for nutrition and digestive health for ISC. Bahl will be based in Gurugram and report into Manoj Kumar, managing director, GSK Consumer Healthcare. He succeeds Prashant Pandey who moves to Bangladesh as general manager - MyBaN (Myanmar, Bangladesh & Nepal).

Bahl joins GSK from Kellogg where he was the global innovation lead for wholesome and savoury snacks, based out of their headquarters in the US.

Announcing the changes, Manoj Kumar, managing director, GSK Consumer Healthcare, says in a press statement, "We are pleased to welcome (Vikram) Bahl on board. He brings with him over 23 years of experience and in-depth knowledge working across various FMCG companies globally and India... I am confident that he will help us in taking the nutrition and digestive health category to greater heights."

Kumar adds, "I also take this opportunity to thank (Prashant) Pandey for his immense contribution to the ISC business where he has made significant contributions to the nutrition and digestive health category in various capacities since 2008."

Speaking about his new role, Bahl says, "I am thrilled to be back in India with GSK... I am looking forward to working with the team to accelerate growth by keeping current consumers engaged while driving more recruitment to the categories with innovative insights based marketing leveraging both traditional and new age media."

Vikram has worked in leading companies such as Gillette, P&G and Kellogg working across a wide range of roles and geographies. He holds a degree in Mathematics from St. Stephen's college and MBA from IIM Bangalore.
