Harish Bhatia & Sudhir Vohra to head Bhaskar group publications
Bhatia was earlier heading the Gujarat operations, while Vohra was in charge of the central zone
There has been a top level reshuffle among senior marketing managers at the Bhaskar group.
Harish Bhatia, vice president - marketing and operations, has moved to Mumbai from Ahmedabad, and will be heading the entire western India market for the Bhaskar group. Earlier, he was heading the operations in Gujarat. Prior to joining the Bhaskar group, Bhatia was working with LG at a senior position.
Eric D’Souza, who was general manager, Bhaskar group has now been redesignated as head - special projects and market development for the Bhaskar group. He will be stationed at the Mumbai corporate office.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Bhatia has become the head of the western zone operation for Divya Bhaskar, the Gujarati daily from the Bhaskar group. Before joining the group, he was a deputy general manager with Videocon Ltd. in the company's corporate marketing cell.
He has over 20 years of experience in sales & marketing with established electronic brands such as Kelvinator, Samsung and LG Electronics. During his stint with electronic industries he has headed premium branches at different locations including Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
Sudhir Vohra, who was based in Bhopal overseeing the central India operations, has been made the overall head of the northern zone for Divya Bhaskar. Even Vohra has around 20 years of experience in the FMCG sector before moving to the Bhaskar group.
