Ten Sports is now part of TheOneAlliance

The channel holds the telecast rights for cricket matches played in Pakistan and West Indies, apart from the rights for soccer and wrestling events

Ten Sports has decided to come under TheOneAllinace distribution network. The arrangement comes into effect immediately following a contract signed by SET Discovery and Taj Television (India) Pvt Ltd.

The bouquet of channels currently consists of SET, MAX, Discovery, Discovery Travel & Living, MTV, Animal Planet, AXN, Animax, NDTV 24X7, NDTV India, NDTV Profit, SAB TV and Nick.

After breaking its ties with Lalit Modi's distribution network, Ten sports was going alone for distribution till date.

Announcing the tie-up, Chris McDonald, CEO, Taj Television Ltd, owners of Ten Sports, said: “Given the strength of TheOneAlliance distribution team on the ground, I am certain this is a step in the right direction. Ten Sports will continue to bring in quality sports coverage, including many hundreds of days of live cricket."

Kunal Dasgupta, CEO, SET India and chairman, SET Discovery, says, “With Ten Sports joining TheOneAlliance, our bouquet will be further strengthened. Now we can provide more value to our customers as apart from Max's ICC cricket rights, our bouquet will also have Ten Sports' cricket properties.”
