Mediaedge:cia wins Zee Entertainment Enterprises business

Sources reveal that the account size is estimated to be in the region of Rs 50 crore

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) has roped in Mediaedge:cia (MEC) as its media AoR. Reliable sources estimate the account size to be in region of Rs 50 crore.

Zee's list of national channels include Zee TV, Zee Business, Zee Cinema, Zee Classic, Zee Music, Zee Premiere, Zee Smile, Zee Sports, Zee Trendz, Zee Cafe, Zee Select and Zee Studio. The regional channels are Zee Bangla, Zee Gujarati, Zee Telugu, Zee Kannada, Zee Marathi and Zee Punjabi.

The business for the national channels will be handled out of the agency's Mumbai office. However, the media for the regional channels will be handled out of the respective cities. The contract came into effect from the beginning of this year.

Madison was the incumbent on the business and had been the media agency for Zee for more than a decade.
