ZeeQ launches 'Kahaani Express'
ZeeQ, the edutainment channel from Zee Network, has announced the launch of 'The Kahaani Express', an inter-school storytelling event, to provide children with an opportunity to use their imagination and bring out their creativity.

The channel is reaching out to children from classes 2-7 in over 200 schools across 10 cities. ZeeQ is looking at giving them a platform to express themselves, especially considering the fact that children are highly observant and imaginative.

The Kahaani Express aims to reach 90,000 students within three months. The school contact programme will have specially designed sessions for primary as well as secondary school students. An expert storyteller will conduct the sessions, which will include specially designed picture panels, story development techniques with props along with workshops under the guidance of facilitators.

Aparna Bhosle, deputy business head, ZeeQ says, "Storytelling is a great way to connect. It's a platform through which a child can emote and evoke thoughts. Besides being fun, it enthuses both the teller and listener." ZeeQ is planning a 360-degree marketing campaign for this activity on various media such as on-air, digital and on-ground. The channel is conducting a storywriting contest on-air, as well as online, to give other kids an opportunity to showcase their creativity.

For the record, ZeeQ has adopted the positioning of Mind-full Masti. The channel, targeted at children between 4 and 14, believes 'masti' is proof that a child is both physically and mentally active.
