Tata Sky appoints Pallavi Puri and Malay Dikshit

Puri joins as chief commercial officer and Dikshit, as chief communications officer.

Tata Sky, a Direct to Home (DTH) operator, has announced the appointment of Pallavi Puri as its chief commercial officer and Malay Dikshit as its chief communication officer.

In her new role at Tata Sky, Puri will be in charge of the commercial function which includes subscription revenue management and enhancing Value Added Services (VAS).

Meanwhile, Dikshit will spearhead the brand communications division which comprises of being responsible for developing marketing and communication strategies across traditional and new age mediums. He will also be entrusted with taking the brand identity of Tata Sky to the next phase.

Commenting on their appointment Harit Nagpal, MD and CEO, Tata Sky says, "The new appointments at Tata Sky are a value addition to our already strong leadership team."

Puri brings with her over 17 years of experience. In the past, she has worked with Blow Plast and Hutch which later became Vodafone. She handled prepaid, customer value management platform and was last handling Value Added Services for Vodafone, before joining Tata Sky.

Prior to joining Tata Sky, Dikshit was the marketing director for Diageo in Moet Hennessey Diageo for Malaysia and Singapore. He has also been associated with Reckitt Benckiser and Cadbury in the past.

For the record, launched in 2006, Tata Sky is a JV between the TATA Group and 21st Century Fox. The company claims to have a presence in 36,000 towns with over 13.5 million connections.
