Videocon d2h launches direct to mobile app

The app is currently available only for d2h subscribers, at an additional cost of Rs. 60 per month.

Videocon d2h has launched a mobile TV app, in an effort to increase its over-the-top (OTT) services. The new app, called Direct to Mobile TV, will allow subscribers to watch television on mobile phones. This app is available only for Videocon d2h customers.

The app gives access to 70 select live TV channels along with 3000 movies and videos, claims Videocon. The list of available channels includes entertainment, news and regional channels. The company's d2h subscribers can use the app at an additional cost of Rs. 60 per month.

This service includes features like programme guide, show reminders and social media integration and a 'What's Hot' section. The service targets working professionals, shoppers and students, who spend time outside their homes.
