Ogilvy's Piyush Pandey Gets Padma Shri

This Republic Day, the Indian advertising industry and ad agency Ogilvy & Mather have ample reason to celebrate. Piyush Pandey, executive chairman and creative director, Ogilvy & Mather, India and South Asia, has been given the coveted Padma Shri award. The category is 'Others-Advertising & Communication'.

Pandey recently launched his biography Pandeymonium.

Among advertising campaigns, his team's recent effort for Rajasthan Tourism has grabbed a fair share of attention.

Other well known admen to have received the Padma Shri in the past include Alyque Padamsee and more recently, Prasoon Joshi.
