And the mystery advertiser is...

On Friday, we asked you to guess the advertiser behind TOI's teasers in print. Now we know.

The mystery teaser ads on the on the front pages of The Times of India last week - the ones with the strange logo-like pattern on the right - were from the stable of fashion and lifestyle brand ITC Wills Lifestyle.

The brand is now known as just ‘WLS’.

And the mystery advertiser is...
A WLS ad on TOI - February 6 edition

WLS recently unveiled its new identity - from the extended 'ITC Wills Lifestyle' to a shorter 'WLS' - and simultaneously revealed a new brand logo too. The older alphabetical logo 'WLS' has now been replaced with the new pattern-based one that resembles a 'W'.

The new logo is called Tattva. The brand team claims that the new logo "represents the confluence of all the primary elements, namely, earth, wind, fire, water and space."

The teasers were present in the national daily for three consecutive days (February 6, 7 and 8, 2019) across various cities. The ad print carried only half the logo leaving netizens, and us, curious.

We've found closure. Moving on...
