Adfest 2019 winners: Indian agencies bag 15 medals

Adfest has announced the winners of its 2019 edition – 10 bronze, 4 silver and 1 gold from Indian agencies.

Adfest 2019 has announced the winners of its various categories and Indian branches of agencies have brought home 15 awards including 10 bronze, 4 silver and 1 gold.

Dulux’s entry titled “Painted by Paint” won a bronze award for the best use of print and conventional outdoor in the Branded Entertainment Lotus category.

In the ‘innovative & sustainable product design’ sub-category under the Design Lotus category, TBWAIndia won gold for their “Blink to Speak” campaign. Their work was for the Neurogen Brain and Spine Institute.

J Walter Thompson won awards for their work with the Jimmy Nelson Foundation, notably on their “blink and they’re gone” campaign. They won bronze in the Film Lotus category for ‘public services & cause appeals’. In the Film Craft Lotus category, JWT also won Bronze for their “Blink Test” in the sub-category ‘Cinematography’.

“the story of kaveri (and every river everywhere)” is a movie that was made for Reforest India by Early Man Film. It won silver in Film Craft Lotus category under the sub-category of ‘best use of music track’. In the same category, the film also won silver under the sub-category of ‘cinematography’.

Mahindra's CSR initiative was aimed at spreading awareness about breast cancer among women

Mahindra’s CSR initiative by Mahindra Rise titled “Sehat Ka Batua” won a bronze in the sub-category ‘best use of ambient: small scale’ in the Media Lotus category. In the Outdoor Lotus category, it won bronze. The video was conceptualised by Grey Worldwide, India. In the Media Lotus category, Taproot Dentsu’s entry “Nazar Battu Lid” for Dulux won bronze in the ‘ambient: small scale’ sub-category.

In the Mobile Lotus category, Cheil Worldwide, India took home silver in the ‘user experience for mobile’ sub-category with “The Good Vibes Project.” Cheil also bagged bronze with the same entry in the ‘mobile application and other downloadable tools’ sub-category.

Powerless Queen is an interactive digital chess game aimed at creating awareness about gender disparity

The Mobile Lotus category also saw digital agency WatConsult win a bronze in the ‘mobile game’ sub-category for their interactive digital chess game titled Powerless Queens, in collaboration with NGO Nanhi Kali.

In the Press Lotus category, under the ‘finance, commercial public services, business products & services’ sub-category McCann won silver for their print campaign titled ‘Get Health Insurance Already’ for Cigna TTK Health Insurance.

In the ‘Special Awards’ category Dentsu won ‘network of the year’ which includes their Mumbai leg – Taproot Dentsu.
