With the recent launch of its highly-awaited SUV, Nissan KICKS, the Japanese automobile powerhouse aims to re-stage itself as a premier SUV producer in India. Working towards increasing its market share in the country within the next few years, Nissan will be competing against age-old automobile manufacturers like Hyundai and Tata that lack the cutting-edge Japanese engineering Nissan brings to the table.
KICKS' first-in-class Around View Monitor feature has been the highlight of this intelligent SUV and is regarded as a novelty that no other car in this segment features, yet. More importantly, it resonates with the brand's core differentiator: Nissan Intelligent Mobility, which empowers you with tomorrow's technology for a more confident and exciting drive.
Nissan India used an innovative OOH to highlight this first-in-class feature at strategic locations which uses a certain RF technology to showcase how the Around View Monitor feature works. Using an electromagnetic signal, it syncs the control panel with the hoarding, and gives us complete control over how the display is illuminated.
The KICKS was especially redesigned for the Indian market, keeping in mind the Indian Firestarter (KICKS Target Group). The India-spec KICKS is bigger, wider and taller than its global avatar. With first-in-class intelligent features like 360-degree Around View Monitor, best-in-class NissanConnect with Smartwatch connectivity and High Ground Clearance, the Nissan KICKS is setting new benchmarks in the C-SUV segment.
The innovation is currently live in Delhi until the 9th of April and will soon go live in Mumbai.
