Sandesh News won Bronze Award in the ‘Best Print Ad’ category of the ‘TV News’ Segment for its election campaign.
afaqs! organised the first edition of “afaqs! Media Brand Awards” to recognise and celebrate the extraordinary achievements of various media brands in the field of print, TV, radio, online & OTT, in Delhi on 19th July 2019.
In the event, Sandesh News won Bronze Award in the ‘Best Print Ad’ category of the ‘TV News’ Segment for its election campaign.
The winners from the entries were decided based on the idea, content, design and engagement of their campaigns. The jurors of the Media Brand Awards included top officials and leaders of various leading corporates.

The Idea behind the winning campaign was taking a cue from the epic Mahabharata, we drew a parallel between the Lok Sabha Elections and the game of Chopat (or Chousar in Hindi) and played around it. The game is full of twists and turns and highly engaging. It generates high curiosity among the onlookers too. The player that makes the winning move wins the big prize.
