Sudip Ghose appointed as new MD - VIP Industries

VIP Industries has announced the appointment of Sudip Ghose as the company's new managing director (MD). Ghose's current designation is CEO.

Announcing the appointment, VIP Industries' vice chairperson, Radhika Piramal, says, "During the last few years, (Sudip) Ghose has been instrumental in driving the growth for the company. He joined the organisation as head of marketing in 2013 and in the last six years, has made invaluable contributions in various capacities including sales and marketing. I am confident that under his leadership, the company will continue to grow."

Ghose (46) was also appointed as additional director of the company with effect from Feb 8, 2019. He will work as CEO till March 31, 2019. Consequently, Ghose shall assume the charge of MD from April 1.

He has over two decades of experience in sales and marketing with expertise in strategic planning, integrated brand marketing, and consumer behaviour and insights. Prior to joining VIP Industries, Ghose has worked with Samsonite South Asia, Onida, Whirlpool India, Reliance and Bausch & Lomb.

Ghose is an executive management graduate from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai and has attended the Clarion College of Communications for his postgraduate diploma studies.
